Rosso dei Notri Toscana IGT bottle image

Wine Description

This youthful offering from Tua Rita is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested in September from vineyards in the foothills of Suvereto, a small hilltop village in Tuscany. After a gentle pressing, the wine is aged in stainless steel to preserve its youthful freshness.

Acclaim
Based on 50% Sangiovese, but blended with an assembly of international grapes, this is clean and polished, and it offers bright notes of berry and cherry, plus mild touches of nut and tobacco. The palate is supple and velvety.
— Wine Enthusiast, Apr 2013
“The 2011 Rosso dei Notri is a gorgeous entry-level wine laced with dark red berries, licorice, mint and sweet spices. It is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit retains its juiciness and freshness. This is a great showing.”
— Wine Advocate, Jun 2012
