Corbaia

Castello di Bossi

Corbaia

This classic blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon was introduced in 1985. The Cabernet adds deep color, structure and longevity to the Classic Tuscan Sangiovese. To obtain superb finesse and elegance, Corbaia is fermented in wooden barrels and matured in Allier oak barriques for two years.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red in color with garnet hues, Corbaia offers jammy aromas of black currant, cherry, and cassis backed by hints of tobacco, chocolate and coffee. On the palate, Corbaia is supple, opulent and complex with rich texture and chewy tannins nicely

Food Pairing

The perfect choice for rich fare such as wild boar, game, steaks, and roast beef. Also excellent with medium-aged cheeses.
