Pinot Nero Toscana IGT

Castello di Bossi

Pinot Nero Toscana IGT

Driven by curiosity, Castello di Bossi embarked on the ambitious journey of cultivating Pinot Nero in the heart of Chianti Classico. Though the initial efforts fell short of expectations, they persevered with unwavering passion. Their dedication bore fruit with the inaugural 2021 vintage, which filled us with great enthusiasm. By the 2022 vintage, the winery had achieved an exceptional level of quality, marking a proud milestone in Castello di Bossi’s winemaking journey.

Tasting Notes

Clear ruby red, with beautiful reflections. The nose presents a set of delightful aromas, of fruits such as currant and blueberry, hints of juniper, and notes of herbs such as nepitella and bay leaf, with inviting intensity. On tasting, the onset is assertive, with entry demonstrating a fluid but well-structured body, from tannins fused with the alcohol component, with a calibrated acid backbone, giving a tasty freshness, for a lively and taut finish.

Food Pairing

This wine is a harmonious companion to poultry dishes, richly roasted duck, or succulent pork. Let its velvety nuances elevate a creamy mushroom risotto or accentuate the smoky allure of grilled vegetables. Every sip invites you to savor life's simplest, yet most exquisite, culinary pleasures.
