Tramin Unterebner

Tramin Unterebner

Wine Description

This is not your typical Pinot Grigio. Made using hand-selected grapes from the Unterebner vineyard in Alto Adige, the wine is refined in large oak casks. After seven to eight months of lees contact, the resulting wine is rich, refined and elegant.

Acclaim
“With dried mango, jellied fruit and peach tea, the Cantina Tramin 2021 Alto Adige Pinot Grigio Unterebner continues to the palate with bitter almond and toasted macadamia nut. Those dried aromas works in tandem with the tonic freshness that this wine is known for.” — Wine Advocate, Apr 2024
“This bright white is supple and creamy on the palate, with rich hints of pastry cream and marzipan enmeshed with pretty flavors of ripe pear, peach skin, mineral and ground anise and ginger. Well-cut and lightly mouthwatering on the lingering finish.”
— Wine Spectator, Oct 2023
