Perlato del Bosco Toscana IGT bottle image

Wine Description

Perlato del Bosco is a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from estate vineyards around Suvereto. The grapes are harvested and vinified separately. Each year the blend is adjusted slightly to take advantage of vintage differences. The wine is aged for fifteen months in new French oak barriques before release.

Acclaim
“The 2009 Perlato del Bosco is a stunner. Fresh delineated aromatics lead to layers of candied, expressive fruit. Silky tannins frame the explosive finish.”
— Wine Advocate, Aug 2011
“The 2009 Perlato del Bosco is gorgeous. Blackberries, graphite, blueberry jam, violets, spices and new leather are some of the many notes that flow from this plush, totally inviting wine. A juicy, expansive finish rounds things out in style.”
— Wine Advocate, Jun 2012
