Tramin Nussbaumer

Nussbaumer Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC bottle image

Wine Description

This Alto Adige classic is made from 100% single-vineyard Gewürztraminer, grown in the highly esteemed Nussbaumer plot. This privileged vineyard site is bathed in maritime breezes from Lago di Garda and sits at a higher elevation which results in a long growing season. After harvesting in multiple passes to capture the optimal ripeness of each bunch, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve their freshness and purity.

Acclaim
“The 2010 Gewürztraminer Nussbaumer flows across the palate with layers of rich, tropical fruit. Soft and caressing, the Nussbaumer boasts gorgeous textural richness and fabulous overall balance. Light honeyed, floral notes wrap around the deeply expressive finish. Despite its considerable richness, the 2010 remains light on its feet and not at all heavy. I loved it.”
