Rully En Rosey Blanc

Maison Chanzy was founded by Daniel Chanzy in 1974 in Bouzeron, located in the northern part of the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy. In 2013, a group of Burgundy wine lovers purchased Chanzy with a group of investors and have since added a second holding in Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune for a total of 163 acres planted.

Wine Production

Slow and gentle pressing and vinification. Fermented at controlled temperatures between 18°C and 20°C to respect the delicate aromas of the Chardonnay. Rully En Rosey Blanc is aged in large oak barrels of 450 and 500 liters for 10 months before bottling, followed by 5 months of mass refining in stainless steel vats.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of honeysuckle and white peach. Fruity and ample length on the palate, showing notes of green apple and lemon with a structured minerality.

Food Pairing

With its lovely fruity and ample length on the palate, Rully En Rosey Blanc pairs well with fine dishes and tender meats, such as pan-fried river fish, sea fish in a white sauce, or warm shellfish. It pairs very well with hard cheeses like Comté. It will do justice to fine poultry in a creamy sauce. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.
