Maranges La Fussière

Pinot Noir

La Fussière is the largest and most emblematic premier cru of Maranges, forming a key link between the Côte d’Or and Saône‑et‑Loire and sitting in harmony with nearby Santenay.

Wine Production

Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 10 days, pumping over and punching down with temperature control throughout fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 17 months in total, including 12 months in oak barrels (15% new), followed by 5 months in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes

Toasty, roasted barrel notes, followed by more rustic tones of leather and spice. On the palate, it is structured and full, with firm tannins and a smooth, balanced texture.

Food Pairing

Pair this wine with a classic boeuf bourguignon.
