Cantos de Valpiedra

Cantos de Valpiedra

Cantos De Valpiedra, made up entirely of Tempranillo, is harvested in the Finca Valpiedra vineyard, mid-September. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats  with an 18 day maceration before aging for 12 months in French and American oak barriques.

Tasting Notes

Cantos De Valpiedra is made up of 100% Tempranillo grapes and has an intese cherry-red color with a bluish rim. Highly intense aromas of black fruit and minerals blend well with those of the oak. The palate is oily and rich with an immediate sweetness. Well balanced acidity with the alcohol and a long cool mineral finish.

Food Pairing

Pair with jamón serrano, paella morisco, and Spanish-style sirloin.
