Cooper Mountain Pinot Noir Life
Cooper Mountain Pinot Noir Life
At Cooper Mountain Vineyards, "Our land is our life and our life is our wine." Life Pinot Noir is made without the addition of sulfites or SO2. The blocks are harvested based on the antioxidant levels, and once picked, the fruit soaks longer on its healthy skins to naturally protect the wine. The result is a Pinot Noir that's unique. Without added SO2, color and flavor remain intact, so Life is often fuller-bodied than a typical Pinot Noir and remarkably fresh.
Wine Production
Organically grown and biodynamic, Cooper Mountain Pinot Noir Life is fermented with native yeasts and aged in 40% two-year-old oak and 60% neutral oak. No additives or fining agents are used in crafting this wine.
Tasting Notes
Excellent concentration meets bold, expressive fruit in this medium-bodied Pinot Noir. Layers of blueberries, cola, and a hint of coffee beans. Supple, round tannins carry the weight in depth with a soft tone of smoked blackberries.

About the Vineyard
The grapes for this Pinot Noir are grown in two vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains AVA of Willamette Valley. The Corrine Vineyard planted in 1989 with Willakenzie soils, and the Johnson School Vineyard with Laurelwood soils. Both are certified organic and biodynamic.
