Garzón Petit Clos Tannat

Garzón Petit Clos Tannat

Wine Description

Each Petit Clos wine comes from outstanding plots meticulously selected by Garzón's oenologist and agronomist to showcase the highest varietal expression.

Each wine is carefully crafted from hand-picked clusters from the best vineyard blocks to reflect the unique terroir. This distinct character is retained by using minimal intervention winemaking, fermenting in concrete tanks, and aging in untoasted French oak.

Acclaim
"The 2022 Tannat Petit Clos is dark and brooding in inky black color, bursting in iron and mineral. The texture is gravelly yet elegant, built for power and structure and full-bodied weight. Oak contributes grip and spice, while the structure suggests good aging potential.” — Jeb Dunnuck, May 2025
Smooth and tasty, this Tannat offers a nose of dark fruit and spices. It shows depth on the palate, bringing a dash of cassis and licorice framed by plush tannins and good acidity. The wine’s solid structure suggests it will continue to delight through 2032. — Wine Enthusiast, Feb 2025
