Turmhof Lagrein

Tiefenbrunner

Turmhof Lagrein

Made from 100% Lagrein grown in estate vineyards in Alto Adige, this wine is named after the estate castle which dates back to the 12th century. Lagrein is an indigenous varietal that is most often vinified into deep, dark reds that have chocolate nuances and rich fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes

Deep purple in color, with a delicate bouquet showing the cherry notes characteristic of the varietal. Subtle wood tones complement its full and round fruit flavors. Soft tannins and pleasant acidity frame the long finish of this traditional South Tyrolea

Food Pairing

Pair with roasted beet, blue cheese and toasted walnut salad or grilled pork chops topped with caramelized apples.
