Di Majo Norante

Don Luigi Riserva

Di Majo Norante

Don Luigi Riserva

Made from 90% Montepulciano and 10% Aglianico grown in estate vineyards in the southeastern region of Molise. After the harvest, the grapes are pressed and macerated 20-25 days with the skins, to obtain greater color and flavor extraction. Afterwards, the wine is transferred into Allier and Tronçais barriques where it ages for 12-18 months.

Tasting Notes

Don Luigi was made in tribute to Don Luigi Di Majo Norante, the patriarch of this estate. Don Luigi is rich, intense and lush, offering a well balanced combination of ripe wild berries and prunes and complex aromas of charcoal, cocoa, licorice and vanilla

Food Pairing

Best enjoyed with baked pasta dishes, steaks and grilled meats.
