DeLoach Heritage Reserve Pinot Noir

DeLoach Heritage Reserve Pinot Noir

All of DeLoach's California appellation wines carry the Heritage Reserve designation and reflect a commitment to showcasing the Golden State’s sun-drenched terroir.

Wine Production

The fruit for this Pinot Noir is primarily from the Delta region of California and is fermented in closed-top fermenters. A small portion is aged in seasoned barrels to impart slight oak characteristics to the wine, but most is kept in stainless steel in order to stay true to the wine’s lighter, food-friendly style. By fermenting and aging the majority of the fruit in closed stainless steel, it retains the delicate fresh fruit aromas. This Pinot Noir, like many of the world’s finest wines, requires minimal handling.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant crimson fruit aromas greet the senses, accompanied by a subtle hint of spice. This Pinot Noir boasts a harmonious herbaceous undertone, complemented by the delightful essence of juicy raspberries and strawberries that dance across the palate, paving the path for a gracefully extended and lingering finish.

Food Pairing

Pairs well with beer-battered shrimp or beef fillets with crispy onions.
