Sangiovese & Sangiovese-Based Blends

Made from 90% Sangioveto, 5% Canaiolo, and 5% Ciliegiolo grown in the Il Poggiale vineyard, at an elevation of 1,452 feet above sea level. This wine is harvested at extremely low yields which produces a concentrated yet elegant Chianti Classico with great aging capability.

This Riserva is deep ruby red in color and displays richness backed by solid tannin. Full-bodied with plenty of spice, this wine has aging potential.

Food Pairing

An austere wine that goes well with rich fare such as ossobuco, beef stew, casseroles, roast beef, and filet mignon.
