Boroli

Barolo Del Comune Di Castiglione Falletto

The idea of a Barolo representing Castiglione’s terroir comes from a specific work that Boroli carried out in the vineyards, dividing them by parcels and studying the plots most suitable for long aging and those most suitable for approachable wines.

Only specific parcels are chosen to produce this Barolo, in order to revive, in the bottle, the true character of the region, using the parcels which are the best expression of the village and its terroir.

Tasting Notes

This wine is an elegant, intense red, with mint and underbrush flavors augmenting the cherry and strawberry fruit. Fresh, elegant and well balanced.

Food Pairing

Perfect with carne cruda - raw beef or veal prepared the Piedmontese way - or steak tartare, filet mignon, and braised beef in Barolo (brasato al Barolo).
