Faustino VII White

Wine Description

Bodegas Faustino, one of the ‘First Families of Rioja’, was founded in 1861 by the Martinez family and is actively managed today by the 6th generation Martinez daughters. Faustino received its recognition from the first export of Faustino Reserva wines in the 1960s. Today, the iconic bottle featuring Rembrandt's art has become the symbol of the excellence of Rioja wines, and Faustino wines are now enjoyed in more than 140 countries. Faustino VII White is a unique wine for its purity, precision, and absolute respect for the grape. Born from an exceptional harvest in Rioja Alavesa, the result is an elegant, vibrant, and gastronomic white that authentically expresses the soul of its origin.

Wine Production

From manual harvesting and meticulous stem removal to production in a controlled atmosphere, every step is designed to protect the quality of the grapes. The must is floated to eliminate impurities prior to fermentation, and the process is carried out under a strictly reductive regime to preserve primary aromas and prevent oxidation. By producing its own food-grade nitrogen, the winery is able to inertize each phase of production, thereby reducing the need for sulfur and enhancing overall purity. Gentle clarification techniques are employed to maintain the wine's texture and varietal character.
