Faustino VII Red

Wine Description

Bodegas Faustino, one of the ‘First Families of Rioja’, was founded in 1861 by the Martinez family and is actively managed today by the 6th generation Martinez daughters. Faustino received its recognition from the first export of Faustino Reserva wines in the 1960s. Today, the iconic bottle featuring Rembrandt's art has become the symbol of the excellence of Rioja wines, and Faustino wines are now enjoyed in more than 140 countries. Faustino VII Red is an exceptional wine from Rioja Alavesa, where nature and expertise align to produce a red wine of remarkable balance, freshness, and maturity.

Wine Production

The Tempranillo grapes are vinified with precision, following a method usually reserved for great whites. Gentle fermentation, controlled oxygenation, and minimal sulfur use ensure purity and elegance. The wine is lightly clarified and aged for two months in American oak.
