Enrique Mendoza Estrecho

Mourvedre/Mataro/Monastrell & Monastrell-based Blends

The area where the vineyard is situated is referred to as "El Estrecho de Pipa" meaning "The Strait of Pipe," so the wine has been named after this straight. Made from 100% Monastrell grown in the area and harvested by hand, the wine shows a minerality that is characteristic to the area.

Tasting Notes

The wine has an attractive cherry red color with loads of fresh red fruits and hints of minerals. Very fresh in the mouth with a medium-long finish.

Food Pairing

This wine is great with spicy cured meats and young cheeses.
