TerraNoble CA2 Costa

Wine Description

This Carmenere is sourced from our vineyards located on the coastal mountain range of the Colchagua Valley. Benefiting from a strong maritime influence, this is a very unique Carmenere, as it offers both a refreshing elegance and character.

The constant breezes off the Pacific Ocean cool the grapes, slowly maturing the intense aromas of dark fruit and spice. Grapes were picked at maximum of maturity to maintain all of the aromatic potential. Together with the soft texture and intense flavors on the palate, this wine is a perfect expression of Carmenere from the coast of Chile.

Acclaim
“This wine opens with aromas of blackberry and cherry accented by hints of dried herbs. Full bodied and well structured, it delivers plenty of fruit flavors and spices. Lively acidity keeps the wine fresh throughout the delicious finish.”
— Wine Enthusiast, Dec 2022
“A plush and lush red with dark plum, blackberry and currant aromas and flavors with a supple finish. Fruit is sourced from a coastal dry land about 25 miles from the ocean and fermented/matured in the same way as the Ca1, though is more forward with fine tannins and round, elegant flavors and textures.”
— The Gazette, May 2022
