Rosé di Morgante

Rosé di Morgante

After accumulating generations of grape-growing expertise, the Morgante family started bottling their own wine under the guidance of Riccardo Cotarella in the mid-1990s. Situated in the western reaches of Sicily, where Nero d’Avola reaches optimal ripeness levels, Morgante has crafted this beautiful 100% estate-grown Nero d'Avola wine.

Rose di Morgante is bright and fresh. Ideal as an aperitif, enhances raw whitefish, and any kind of Mediterranean salad.

Tasting Notes

Medium intensity rose, cherry pink. On the nose it offers hints of wildflowers, enveloped in mineral and floral notes, then strawberries and gentle aromas of melon. The mouthfeel is supple, aromatic and tasty in the end. Wonderfully drinkable.

Food Pairing

Ideal as an aperitif, enhances raw whitefish, yellowtail, snapper, peppery mussels, marinated raw red prawns and any kind of Mediterranean salad.
