Segno Librandi Bianco

Wine Description

This wine is made from 100% Greco Bianco, a white variety brought to Calabria by the ancient Greeks. After a soft pressing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness. Refined briefly in tanks and bottle for a few months for extra finesse, Cirò Bianco is ready to be enjoyed upon release.

Acclaim
“Hints of crushed herbs, clove and black pepper dot the brambly raspberry core in this red. The medium-bodied palate shows good cohesion between the well-mannered tannins and bright, sunny acidity. Tart berry flavors lend a juicy vibe to it all, with hints of earth and herb chiming in.”
— Wine Enthusiast, Dec 2021
“The 2019 Ciro Bianco, a varietal Greco, wafts up delicately to show lime-tinged apples and pears. It’s silky-smooth, yet it quickly firms up as a stimulating wave of zesty acids and tropical citrus washes across the palate. This tapers off clean, refreshing and floral with a lingering inner sweetness that I find quite pleasant."
