Giuseppe Cortese Langhe Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo Langhe DOC bottle image

Wine Description

Made from 100% Nebbiolo harvested in mid-October. The grapes are crushed and macerated in contact with the skins for 15 days, to ensure greater color extraction. After fermentation, the wine is aged for one year in a combination of new and seasoned large oak barrels.

Acclaim
The 2007 Langhe Nebbiolo is another pristine wine from Cortese. Sweet roses, spices and flowers come together in this sensual, harmonious red. The finish is simply gorgeous. Even better, Cortese's 2007 Langhe Nebbiolo is a great value comparable in quality to a village-level Burgundy.
