Wine Production

The fruit was hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation took place in cement tanks with indigenous yeasts and then pressed in a gentle pneumatic press to extract the juice. The wine was aged half in 54 HL large untoasted casks, half in 150 HL cement tanks to allow the quality of the fruit to shine through.

Tasting Notes

The wine has a bright, intense ruby red color. On the nose, it shows aromas of fresh red fruit and bright black fruit like blueberry and blackberry along with a touch of flint. On the palette, it is very textural with depth and juiciness, intense and approachable tannins. The finish is soft and succulent.

Food Pairing

Pairs well with roasted meat and aged cheese.
