S. Niccolò Vin Santo

Other White Grape or Blend

Made from 60% Malvasia and 40% Trebbiano, harvested from various estate vineyards in Castellina in Chianti. After harvest, the grapes are crushed and fermentation is carried out slowly in small oak barrels known as caratelli in which the wine continues to age for five years.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant amber in color, this wine offers seductive, layered aromas of toasted almonds, dried apricot, dates, toffee and spice cake.  On the palate, it shows incredible balance, and continues to evolve into a toasty, pleasantly bitter finish.

Food Pairing

This exquisite dessert wine is perfect on its own or served with biscotti and fruit tarts.
