EarthGarden Pinot Noir
EarthGarden is grown in harmony with nature, embodying a holistic approach that is better for our soils, our ecosystems and ourselves.
No synthetic pesticides or herbicides are used and hundreds of pounds of wildflowers are planted in our vineyards to attract bees and beneficial insects to control pests and disease in harmony with nature. These wildflowers were the inspiration for our beautiful label.
Sustainable vineyard management means healthier vines and fruit, requiring less winemaking intervention to allow the purest expression of the grape and terroir in every delicious bottle.
When you taste our wine, you taste the care put into the soil, the conscious tending of the vines, the careful handling of the fruit produced and the respect for our relationship with the land.
Wine Production
This wine spent 10-12 months in 10% new, 90% seasoned oak.
Tasting Notes
This Pinot Noir expresses black fruits like boysenberries and blueberries with subtle floral notes and gentle acidity. The cocoa powder tannins and smoky toasty notes add complexity with a generous earthy textural finish.
Food Pairing
This wine pairs well with New Zealand lamb, but rich enough to enhance slowcooked beef cheeks.
For a plant-based alternative, try with mushroom or truffle flavored dishes to accentuate it’s earthy character.
