Fresh and piquant on the nose where mineral bedrock flavors intermix with bright fruit flavors such as ripe apples, quinces, peaches, apricots, pineapples and limes, this piquant, well concentrated, firmly structured and straightforward power-wine shows finesse and a vibrant freshness that's almost Riesling-like. The great complexity and its impressive length make the Wachtberg to one of the finest Grüner Veltliner crus of the vintage.”
