Silky textures are contrasted by a mix of both sweet and savory tones, with red berries, wild herbs, inner cedar, and floral notes. Brisk acids cleanse the senses, as the 2015 Le Macioche finishes fresh, still showing ripe red fruits but with a tug of subtle tannins, which creates a satisfying and tactile finale. It’s a very pretty wine that can already be enjoyed on its energy and forward-fruit profile. Tasted twice with consistent results.”

Review “Tasted blind. Just mid ruby. A little stalky and closed on the nose. Supple palate with marasca cherry and hints of marzipan. Concentrated yet elegant and with plenty of juicy acidity and soft, bitter-sweet, clinging tannins. Can be approached now but has potential to improve in bottle.” (17+ out of 20 points)
