“Broad strokes of melon and peach mark this fleshy white. Ripe, with good structure and a hint of earth on the mouthwatering finish.”
Domaine Louis Moreau - Decanter
“All of Louis Moreau's Valmur vines face south, so this wine can be quite rich. For the first time in 2017 it was unwooded, which has added more zip and life to the waxy, fresh and leesy palate, with stone fruit sweetness and a tangy finish.”
Domaine Louis Moreau - Wine Advocate
"The 2016 Petit Chablis has a light nose of apple peelings and limestone. You just want to cry out “More!” The palate is balanced and light, with reasonable acidity here, but it seems to drift toward the finish and feels very basic and, for want of a better word, forgettable. I preferred the 2015 Petit Chablis that I tasted last year."
"Indigenous yeasts, unoaked but aged on lees in tank. Very subtle cedary aroma. Tight and wonderfully unadulterated Chablis. Bone dry, mineral, chalky and long, no excess flesh but in balance." (17 out of 20 points)
