TerraNoble CA1 Andes

CA1 Andes bottle image

Wine Description

Grown in the warm Andes foothills of the Colchagua valley, CA1 is a Carmenere of great character and power. This is a rich wine, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit. The round tannins, together with the lush concentration of fruit on the palate reveals to us the best expression of Carmenere grown at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

Acclaim
“A svelte red, offering lots of Asian spice notes to its juicy raspberry, red plum and dark currant flavors, which are supported by zesty acidity. This is well-structured, presenting a creamy finish that shows hints of tangerine.”
— Wine Spectator, May 2014
“Aromas of boysenberry and cherry-vanilla show a floral quality and pick up spiciness with air. Lush and expansive on the palate, with pungent dark fruit flavors displaying a refreshingly bitter quality and good clarity. Closes with gentle grip, very good length and lingering floral and spice notes.”
— International Wine Cellar, Feb 2014
