Palladio Chianti

Chianti DOCG bottle image

Wine Description

Palladio was the name of an architect from Venice who created many stylish designs. This modern, stylish wine is a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot and 5% Syrah that is vinified and matured entirely in stainless steel tanks. A prolonged, eight day maceration with skin contact and frequent pump overs result in greater color extraction. Temperature-controlled fermentation provides juicy and balanced tannins while maintaining the rich fruit aromas typical of Sangiovese.

Acclaim
The 2007 Chianti from Palladio is a plump wine perfect for everyday drinking. A small addition of Merlot and Syrah helps give the wine an attractive juiciness. Even better, it is a terrific value.
