Cresasso Corvina Veronese

Corvina & Corvina-based Blends

This zone in which the grapes are grown is distinguished by its particular type of soil which is full of small stones. From this soil type was born the name Cresasso. While the terrain is far from easy to cultivate, the native Corvina Veronese finds it an ideal zone to grow and reach optimal maturity. This wine is the product of many years of study and patience on the part of the Zenato family as they strive to produce a wine which encapsulates the uniqueness of the terroir from which it comes.

Tasting Notes

Cresasso has a rich ruby color. On the nose one senses red fruits such as amarena and bing cherries, very characteristic of the Corvina grape. On the palate the wine is soft and elegant, with the typical pleasantness for which the wines of Zenato are known.

Food Pairing

Ideal with roasted meats, aged cheeses, and spicy tomato sauces.
