Zardetto Private Cuvée Spumante

Private Cuvée Brut bottle image

Wine Description

Zardetto created a special Cuvée with a blend of Glera, for long-lasting, expressive citrus notes, Chardonnay, for rich body and creamy texture, and Muscat, for fresh floral and grapey aromas. This fine Cuvée manages to be both playful and refined at the same time—sure to please even the most discerning palates.

Acclaim
“Intense straw color, lovely perlage (that’s French for ‘the bubbles hang around for a long time’), highly aromatic with lots of peach, pear and green apple on the approach. Floral flipside, with a lemon-like finish. Rich and substantial, but not a drama queen. This one’s a great seafood wine, but again, don’t think you have to restrict yourself to seafood. It’s a team player.”
— Amy Glynn, Apr 2017
“I like the lemon-meringue character to this. Some fresh cream and light spice, too. Energetic palate with persistent fruit and smooth froth. All comes together on the concentrated finish."
— James Suckling, Jun 2021
