This wine is made from 100% estate-grown Verdejo fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness. It is then aged sur lie for five months with weekly battonage to provided additional depth and complexity. Finca Montepedroso is at once a fresh and intense wine, showcasing the true varietal character of the Verdejo grape.
This wine features notes of apricot, peach, fennel, green almond shell, and anise, with hints of fresh-cut hay, smoke, and minerality. On the palate it is velvety with excellent volume, structure, and acidity, ending in a long and spirited finish.
