Tullibardine 228 N/V

This whisky is extra matured in Red Burgundy (Pinot Noir) wine casks from Chateau de Chassagne Montrachet, the home of Maison Michael Picard, the owner of Tullibardine Distillery.

Tasting Notes

The appearance shows the ruby color from the burgundy cask right off, and the nose opens with the charred oak and vanilla, and then opens to milk chocolate and Turkish delight. Apple, cranberry, hard nuts and a richness with creamy texture round out the palate. The finish is spicy and lengthy.
