Wine Description

This youthful offering from Tua Rita is 50% Sangiovese and 50% blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, harvested in September from vineyards in the foothills of Suvereto, a small hilltop village in Tuscany. After a gentle pressing, the wine is aged for three months in French oak barriques and stainless steel tanks.

Acclaim
A vibrant red with blueberry and chocolate plus currant and raspberry. Medium body, round tannins and lots of beautiful fruit.
— James Suckling, Jul 2016
“This well-priced blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah has earned a steady and enthusiastic following in both foreign and domestic markets. The 2015 Rosso dei Notri makes a great ambassador for this vintage. Some 135,000 bottles were made. The wine shows a level of completeness, fullness and textural richness that is a good sign for all Tuscan reds made in this fortunate growing season. The wine opens to a darkly saturated ruby appearance with generous aromas of cherry and blackberry with spice and tobacco. The tannins are nicely integrated within the fiber of the fruit.”
— Wine Advocate, Apr 2017
