Tramin Nussbaumer

Nussbaumer Gewürztraminer Alto Adige DOC bottle image

Wine Description

This Alto Adige classic is made from 100% single-vineyard Gewürztraminer, grown in the highly esteemed Nussbaumer plot. This privileged vineyard site is bathed in maritime breezes from Lago di Garda and sits at a higher elevation which results in a long growing season. After harvesting in multiple passes to capture the optimal ripeness of each bunch, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve their freshness and purity.

Acclaim
The 2009 Gewurztraminer Nussbaumer shows greater clarity and focus than the Pinot Grigio, with terrific lushness and exceptional overall balance. Intense floral notes are woven throughout the long, polished finish.
