Straight Bourbon Whisky N/V

Rough Rider Straight Bourbon Whisky is carefully handcrafted and aged in new American oak casks for a minimum of two years and then extra matured in wine casks formerly housing Merlot and Chardonnay from renowned Long Island wine estates.  The casks are first rinsed with high proof aged Brandy allowing the Bourbon to take on a new character which adds depth and complexity with a hint of fruit such as blackberry and currant.

Tasting Notes

Floral to the nose with an incredibly smooth and well-rounded sweet flavor.  Complex hints of caramel, vanilla and spice with a finish that is savory, supple and encored by a heady heat.
