Passadouro Touriga Franca 2014

Wine Production

After careful selections in the vineyard and then at the sorting table, the grapes go to granite lagares where maceration is done by traditional foot-treading for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation follows in French oak barrels, where it ages for 18 months. Touriga Franca produces wines with good structure that are also very aromatic and elegant.

Tasting Notes

Concentrated in color. Very floral and elegant aroma dominated by notes of spices, combined with black fruits and a very subtle wood presence. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, very silky, fresh, and intense.
