Passa White is sourced from an estate vineyard near the village of Murça with an altitude of 1,650 feet. The high altitude, cool climate, and schist and granite soils provide ideal conditions for growing white grapes. The wine is a blend of Rabigato and Códega do Larinho from vines with an average age of 20 years. Fermentation is conducted in stainless steel tanks over 15 days at low temperatures, preserving the fresh flavors of the grapes. The ensuing five months of lees contact adds just enough texture to create a perfectly balanced wine.
Light yellow in color, this crisp, aromatic wine gives notes of citrus and minerality. Its textured body and excellent acidity make it a perfect pairing with fish.
