Neudorf Tom's Block Pinot Noir 2014

Neudorf Tom's Block Pinot Noir is made in tribute to a friend and one time neighbor of the estate. This plot hugs the Neudorf Home Vineyard, planted with a range of Dijon Pinot Noir clones in the late 1990s. As the vines have matured over time, the Tom's Block Pinot Noir progressed from a charming fruit-forward wine to a serious and sophisticated Pinot Noir.

Tasting Notes

Tom's Block Pinot Noir has a deep ruby red color, combining dark summer berry fruits with an underlying complexity of wild herbs and nuts, subtle earthiness and fine silky tannins, with backbone that gives way to a very long, savory finish.

Food Pairing

A wonderful accompaniment to stuffed eggplant.
