Mediterra Toscana IGT 2007

Made from 40% Syrah, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon harvested in September and aged for eight months in barriques. Mediterra perfectly reflects the terroir of Bolgheri and expresses a fantastic balance between the freshness of its fragrances and its warm and powerful structure. Its peppered notes, typical of Syrah, are intermingled with aromas of the Mediterranean macchia.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby-red tinged with violet, Mediterra has fruity and warm notes of red berries. Full-bodied and fresh with an impressively long finish.

Mediterra is an ideal summer wine that can be paired with soup, pasta, tuna tartare or poultry dishes.
