AAA 2013
Marqués de Griñón
‘AAA’ is the name chosen for this new series of unique and exceptional discoveries by the Dominio de Valdepusa estate, which is based not only on the idea of excellence, but also on that of uniqueness. This wine is only produced when an exceptional batch emerges in an exceptional vintage. There are no fixed rules when it comes to its composition, vinification or aging. Additionally, the Marques de Griñon’s three daughters’ names feature three "A's": Alexandra, Tamara and Aldara.
Tasting Notes
Vibrant, opaque purple in color with ruby reflections, this Petit Verdot wine shows layered aromas of crushed black cherries, black currants, wild flowers and black pepper. Equally rich on the palate, the wine shows beautiful balance and length.
Food Pairing
AAA matches perfectly with Spanish-style sirloin, spit-roasted lamb shank, and slow-poached porter-house steaks.
