About the Vineyard
This wine comes from estate owned vineyards located in Novello and Barolo, and made of 100% Pinot Noir. Grapes are hand harvested and carefully selected. Low yields and long aging make this wine of the highest quality.
After the harvest, destalking, and soft pressing, each varietal is fermented separately. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is blended and aged in french barriques for 18 months, then bottled. Everything is done with respect for tradition, and with the most modern methodologies and tools.
The Pinot Noir, is rich with perfumes, and well balanced between red fruits, and notes of spice. Intense and full on the palate, this is a wine of great satisfaction and persistence.
This wine is very versitile, and can be served with with duck dishes and other game birds.
