Segno Librandi Rosato

Wine Description

The vineyards that dot the countryside of the small town of Cirò Marina overlook the Ionian Sea and benefit from cool ocean breezes, thus producing grapes with spicy and floral aromas.  Cirò Rosato is made from 100% Gaglioppo, Calabria's signature variety, selectively harvested in late September into early October.

Acclaim
“A vivid display of ripe cantaloupe, mint and honeyed florals wafts up from the 2020 Rosato Segno Librandi. This is silky-smooth and sweet yet nicely balanced by stimulating acidity, as ripe melon and hints of cherry wash across the palate. The lip-smacking finale remains fruit-focused yet fresh. This varietal Gaglioppo Rosato from Calabria is a bit too sweet for my taste in the 2020 vintage.”
