Acclaim
“More delicate and floral than many garnachas from this area with a great balance on the palate between delicately sweet fruit, fresh dry tannins and crisp acidity. A lot of energy and excitement on the long finish.”
— James Suckling, Aug 2018
"A wine that over-delivers in just about every vintage, the 2016 Tres Picos is always 100% Garnacha from red/iron-laced soils, destemmed and brought up in French oak barrels. Raspberries, spice, dried flowers and potpourri notes all emerge from this juicy, front end-loaded, absolutely delicious red that has a touch of vanilla, medium to full-bodied richness, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 2-4 years."
— Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2018

Wine Production

At the winery, a manual cluster selection is sorted. A cold maceration during 1-2 days in steel tank with controlled temperatures 22-30ºC. The wine is aged for 5 to 6 months in new bordelaise barrels of French oak.
