Blanc de Montsalvat 2007

Montsalvat is a sacred and legendary mountain that believed to hold the Holy Grail which is guarded by King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. A rarity even in this region: an exotic white wine from 65-year-old vines of Macabeo and the rare Trepat Blanc variety.

Tasting Notes

Blanc de Monsalvat is transparent with light golden tones. The wine is full-bodied, tightly structured, and bone dry, but has a honey-like flavor with overtones of clove and cardamom. It is rich and long.

Food Pairing

A great complement to creamy cheeses, dried fruit, and crema catalana (crème brulée).
