Blanc de Montsalvat 2006

A rarity even in this rarified region: an exotic white wine from 65-year-old vines of Macabeo and the rare Trepat Blanc variety. Fermented in steel and aged in new French barriques.

Tasting Notes

This wine is full-bodied, tightly structured, and bone dry, but with a flavor like honey with overtones of clove and cardamom. It is rich and long.

Food Pairing

A great complement to creamy cheeses, dried fruit, and crema catalana (crème brulée).
