Argiolas Costamolino

Costamolino Vermentino di Sardegna DOC bottle image

Wine Description

Made from 90% Vermentino and 10% of other Sardinian grapes grown in the Costamolino vineyard, at an elevation of 625 feet. The grapes were harvested in September and vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation was partially carried out, allowing for greater elegance without sacrificing the typical freshness of Vermentino.

Acclaim
All tank-fermented and aged, it reveals a light straw color in addition to an expressive nose of almond-infused lemony fruit aromas, a good texture, and a dry, pure, clean personality...
— Wine Advocate, Aug 2001
Clean, fresh and fruity, this is a real waker-upper. Pineapple and grapefruit flavors carry right through to the long finish...lively acids, good balance and a lush mouthfeel.... A great apéritif...
