Acclaim
“Terracotta, earth, iron filings, cedar and leather make for an undergrowth-driven Brunello 2015, which doesn’t fall short in the fruit department either, where there are red plums and red cherries. The tannins are neatly stacked, one on top of the other, with tidy acidity drawing in vibrant fruit and keeping it taut throughout. Balanced and stylish.”
— James Suckling, Nov 2019
“Ruby in color, mostly clear and bright. The nose is dusty with nice cherries. Some forest floor. On the palate, this has a lovely texture. Light tannins. Black cherry fruit. Long finish with some anise notes. Drinking well but will improve from here. Drink over the next ten to twelve years. A nice wine with Pappa al pomodoro (a tomato bread soup).”
